Phoenix stay unbeaten with win over Detroit
Jan 9, 2010 - 11:16 PM GREEN BAY, Wis.(AP) -- Kayla Tetschlag scored 19 points and Hannah Quilling added a career-high 14 to help No. 18 Wisconsin-Green Bay remain undefeated with a 71-46 victory over Detroit on Saturday.The Phoenix (15-0, 4-0 Horizon) extended their regular season winning streak to 33 games, hounding the Titans (4-10, 2-1) into 28 turnovers.
Green Bay struggled early on, making just one of its first six shots, but the Phoenix used a 14-2 run midway through the first half to open up a lead for good. The Phoenix also started the second half with a 17-2 spurt to put the game away.
Freshman Lydia Bauer also had a career-high 11 points for the Phoenix.
Detroit was led by Lauren Allen's 11 points.
