Haley Peters added 12 points and Richa Jackson chipped in with 11 points for the Blue Devils (11-2, 2-0 ACC), winners in five straight.
Lakevia Boykin lead all scorers with 25 points while Secily Ray added nine points and seven boards for the Demon Deacons (10-4, 0-1 ACC), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
It was a seven-point game at halftime with Duke up 34-27, but the Blue Devils were able to take an 18-point lead by the 9:36 mark following a 26-12 run. Wake Forest was able to pull within 14 with 2 1/2 minutes remaining, but Duke stifled the rally and locked up the win.
