Dolson helps UConn dominate Rutgers
Feb 5, 2012 - 2:41 AM Storrs, CT (Sports Network) - Stefanie Dolson had 16 points to lift No. 3 Connecticut to a 66-34 win over 13th-ranked Rutgers on Saturday.Tiffany Hayes scored 14 points with seven assists for the Huskies (21-2, 9-1 Big East), who won their 98th straight home game.
Monique Oliver scored 15 points with eight rebounds for the Scarlet Knights (17-6, 6-4), who were the last team to defeat the Huskies at home back in 2007 in the Big East tournament title game.
Connecticut held a 37-19 lead at the break thanks to 50 percent shooting, while holding Rutgers to just 39.1 percent shooting.
