Liston leads Duke past California
Dec 2, 2012 - 9:51 PM Durham, NC (Sports Network) - Tricia Liston gave 22 points and eight rebounds as No. 4 Duke took a 77-63 win over 10th-ranked California at Cameron Indoor Stadium.Chelsea Gray posted 13 points, nine assists and eight rebounds while Elizabeth Williams added 12 points for the Blue Devils (6-0), who also got 11 points from Alexis Jones.
Brittany Boyd had a game-high 28 points for the Golden Bears (6-1), who saw Layshia Clarendon donate 13 points in the loss.
California held a three-point lead early in the game, but Duke answered with the next 12 points to take a lead it never lost.
The Blue Devils led by 14 points, 34-20, going into the second half and never saw their lead fall below double-digits for the remainder of the game.
