Cal cruises past Oregon for 12th straight win
Feb 23, 2013 - 5:23 AM Berkeley, CA (Sports Network) - Layshia Clarendon led four Golden Bears in double figures with 14 points, as No. 6 California rolled to a 12th straight victory with a 77-55 rout of Oregon.Talia Caldwell totaled 10 points and 10 rebounds, Afure Jemerigbe chipped in 13 points and Gennifer Brandon rounded out Cal's top scorers with 10 points.
The Golden Bears (24-2, 14-1 Pac-12) matched the school record for consecutive wins set by the 2008-09 squad.
Devyn Galland had 10 points to pace Oregon (4-23, 2-13), which was coming off a win against Washington State that ended a six-game slide.
Cal scored the game's first 10 points, led 30-21 at halftime and went on a 10-0 run early in the second half to pull away for good.
