Seton Hall knocks off Marquette
Feb 21, 2007 - 3:39 AM EAST RUTHERFORD,New Jersey (Ticker) -- Ela Mukosiej scored 16 points to lead Seton Hall to a 63-58 victory over No. 21 Marquette in a Big East Conference matchup.Monique Blake had 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Brittany Messina added nine off the bench for Seton Hall (17-9, 8-6 Big East), which has won eight of its last nine games.
Mukosiej finished 5-of-12 from the floor and converted on 6-of-7 free throws. The Pirates came back from a 32-24 deficit at the break by shooting 50 percent (11-of-22) in the second half.
Krystal Ellis scored 25 points and Christina Quaye added 15 for Marquette (22-5, 10-4), which shot 28 percent (19-of-67) from the floor and 4-of-19 from the arc.
