Courtney Paris gets double-double in victory
Feb 22, 2007 - 6:38 AM LAWRENCE, Kansas (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris scored 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead No. 11 Oklahoma to a 76-70 Big 12 Conference victory over Kansas.Paris shot 12-of-17 from the floor and blocked three shots for the Sooners (21-4, 11-3 Big 12), who overcame poor free-throw shooting by hitting 55 percent (28-of-51) from the field.
Ashley Paris had 16 points and nine rebounds and Britney Brown added 14 for Oklahoma, which kept pace with Texas A&M atop the conference standings. Oklahoma shot a dismal 56 percent (18-of-32) from the free-throw line.
The Jayhawks (9-18, 3-11) were led by Shaquina Mosley, who scored 20 points.
Kelly Kohn collected 16 points and Sade Morris added 13 for Kansas, which shot 41 percent (26-of-63).
