Bonner, Boddie buoy Auburn
Nov 22, 2007 - 2:09 AM ROCHESTER, Michigan (Ticker) -- DeWanna Bonner scored 22 points and Whitney Boddie added 19 points to lead 25th-ranked Auburn to a 71-63 victory over Oakland on Wednesday.Bonner was 10-of-18 from the field while Boddie made seven of her 15 shots for the Tigers (4-0), who rallied from a six-point, second-half deficit.
Sophomore Melissa Jeltema had a career-high 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting and Jessica Pike added 15 points for the Golden Grizzlies (2-1).
The Tigers scored the last six points of the first half to earn a 34-28 lead at the break.
