Thompson, C. Paris lead Oklahoma past Michigan State
Dec 16, 2007 - 8:14 PM EAST LANSING, Michigan (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris is not the only player that Oklahoma can count on for a double-double.Amanda Thompson had 14 points and 14 rebounds as ninth-ranked Oklahoma posted a 66-55 victory at No. 21 Michigan State on Sunday.
A sophomore, Thompson shot 7-of-11 from the field, grabbed seven boards and blocked four shots.
Paris also had a double-double for the Sooners (7-2), extending her record streak to 68 with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Ashley Paris and Danielle Robinson had 12 points apiece for Oklahoma, which finished with a 47-31 advantage on the boards and outscored Michigan State in the paint, 38-18.
Courtney Davidson scored 18 points for the Spartans (7-3), who shot 38.5 percent (20-of-52) and committed 18 turnovers.
