Paris sisters lead Oklahoma to comeback win
Feb 21, 2008 - 7:28 AM MANHATTAN, Kansas (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris and Ashley Paris each recorded a double-double to lead No. 10 Oklahoma to a 68-65 victory over No. 15 Kansas State in a Big 12 Conference matchup on Wednesday.Courtney Paris shot 10-of-13 from the field and finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds en route to her 85th consecutive double-double. She also had four assists and three blocks.
Ashley Paris had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Oklahoma (19-5, 9-3 Big 12), which outscored Kansas State, 40-27, in the second half.
Kansas State led 38-28 at the half after shooting 12-of-28 (43 percent) from the field. The Wildcats struggled after the break shooting 8-of-27 (30 percent).
Ashley Sweat scored 25 points and Marlies Gipson added 13 for Kansas State (18-7, 10-2).
