Feb 24, 2008 - 10:28 PM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Jessica Adair scored 20 points as No. 16 George Washington secured a 61-53 victory over Saint Joseph's in the Atlantic 10 Conference on Sunday.Adair shot 9-of-15 from the field and collected four steals for the Colonials (22-5, 10-2 A-10), who won for the eighth time in their last nine games.
Kimberly Beck added nine points and five assists for George Washington, which shot 56 percent (23-of-57) in the second half to pull away from a 20-18 halftime advantage.
Sarah Acker scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Hawks (14-13, 6-6), who finished 37 percent (20-of-54) from the field and were outscored 38-22 in the paint.
