Middle Tennessee overpowers North Dakota State
Jan 3, 2007 - 7:49 AM MURFREESBORO, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Middle Tennessee State celebrated its entrance into the top 25 with some sizzling shooting.Brandie Brown scored a career-high 25 points to lead No. 25 Middle Tennessee State to a 93-63 rout of North Dakota State.
The Raiders (11-3) hit 17-of-32 3-point attempts, including 7-of-10 by Brown.
Amber Holt and Jackie Pickel scored 18 points apiece for Middle Tennessee, which also had nine steals and turned 21 turnovers by North Dakota State into 34 points.
Lisa Bue scored 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting for the Bison (6-6), who shot 3-of-10 from the arc.
