Michigan State rallies past Iowa for third straight win
Jan 21, 2007 - 9:39 PM EAST LANSING, Michigan (Ticker) -- Allyssa DeHaan scored 16 points to lead No. 21 Michigan State to a 67-57 Big Ten Conference triumph over Iowa.It was the third straight victory for the Spartans (15-4, 6-1 Big Ten), who limped to a 28-27 halftime lead before pulling away in the final 20 minutes.
DeHaan shot 8-of-13 from the floor and blocked seven shots while Mia Johnson and reserve Courtney Davidson scored 10 points each for Michigan State, which shot 50 percent (28-of-56) to offset 21 turnovers.
Kristi Smith scored 13 points for Iowa (11-9, 3-4), which shot just 38 percent (21-of-56).
