Mann, Achter lead Bowling Green over Northern Illinois
Feb 10, 2007 - 11:34 PM DEKALB, Illinois (Ticker) -- Ali Mann had 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead Bowling Green to its 35th straight Mid-American Conference contest with an 85-76 victory over Northern Illinois.Kate Achter added 22 points and Carin Horne added 12 for the Falcons (22-2, 11-0 MAC), who shot 50 percent (33-of-66) and turned over the ball just nine times.
Mann shot 9-of-14 from the floor and added seven offensive rebounds as Bowling Green won its 14th straight game.
Stephanie Raymond added 23 points, six rebounds and five assists and Mary Basic added 18 points for the Huskies (15-8, 6-5), who shot 43 percent (28-of-65) and turned over the ball 17 times.
