UNC downs Miami to reach ACC title game

Mar 5, 2011 - 11:45 PM Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - Jessica Breland scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as the 19th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels took down the 10th-ranked Miami-Florida Hurricanes, 83-57, in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament.

Cetera DeGraffenreid and Krista Gross each added 14 points and six rebounds for the Tar Heels (25-7), who reached the ACC title game for the 16th time.

Italee Lucas donated 12 points and five rebounds for North Carolina, which will play Duke in the championship game.

Riquna Williams finished with 21 points and five boards for the Hurricanes (27-4), who had a seven-game winning streak snapped. Shenise Johnson chipped in with 19 points and 14 rebounds in defeat.
