Texas A&M tops Oklahoma, gets into Big 12 final
Mar 11, 2011 - 11:21 PM Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - Sydney Carter finished with 19 points as No. 8 Texas A&M topped No. 21 Oklahoma, 81-68, in the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference Tournament.Tyra White added 18 points and nine rebounds while Danielle Adams scored 16 and grabbed a game-high 11 boards for the second-seeded Aggies (27-4), who will face Baylor in Saturday's final.
Adaora Elonu added 14 points and eight rebounds while Sydney Colson posted nine points, eight boards and eight assists for the victors.
Whitney Hand paced the third-seeded Sooners (21-11) with a game-high 21 points. Danielle Robinson added 19 points, seven assists and six boards while Nicole Griffin scored 12 in the loss.
