Duke cruises past Virginia Tech
Jan 15, 2012 - 9:27 PM Blacksburg, VA (Sports Network) - Elizabeth Williams scored 20 points, pulled down seven rebounds and blocked four shots, as the seventh-ranked Duke Blue Devils handled the Virginia Tech Hokies, 61-34.Richa Jackson added 11 points for the Blue Devils (14-2, 5-0 ACC), who have won eight in a row since a loss to Kentucky on December 8. Allison Vernerey had nine points and seven boards.
Alyssa Fenyn ended with 11 points for the Hokies (6-12, 2-3), who have dropped three straight.
Duke has won 16 in a row against Virginia Tech and leads the all-time series by an 18-2 count.
