Epps' triple-double leads No. 13 Kentucky women to win

(AP) Makayla Epps recorded the second-ever triple-double in program history and No. 13 Kentucky rolled to a 112-57 victory over Morehead State on Wednesday night.Epps scored 21 points, and had career-highs with 11 rebounds and 12 assists. Leslie Nichols had the first triple-double in 1986.
Kentucky (3-0) scored its most points since putting up 111 against Appalachian State on November 14, 2014.
Alexis Jennings scored a career-high 28 points, and had 13 rebounds for Kentucky. Evelyn Akhator scored 12 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, one shy of her career-best.
The Wildcats had a 12-0 spurt in the third quarter to go up 82-38. It was their longest since a 17-0 run in the first half against Rice in their opener. Epps scored 8 points and Jennings added 4 during the span.
Eriel McKee scored 16 to lead Morehead State (1-2).
