UCF fires women's basketball coach Joi Williams
Mar 7, 2016 - 6:59 PM ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Joi Williams has been fired as Central Florida's women's basketball coach after nine seasons.UCF athletic director Danny White announced the decision Monday. The Knights finished 7-23 this season, including an 83-74 overtime loss to SMU in the American Athletic Conference tournament.
Williams was 114-163 overall, including 59-91 in conference play.
White said a national search for a successor will begin immediately.
