Sherwood scores 20 as Vanderbilt downs Western Kentucky
Dec 7, 2007 - 3:39 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Liz Sherwood scored 20 points on Thursday to lead No. 17 Vanderbilt to a 75-54 victory over Western Kentucky.Sherwood also had four blocked shots as the Commodores (8-2) rebounded from a loss to California on Sunday.
Jessica Mooney scored 16 points and Jennifer Risper 12 for Vanderbilt.
Crystal Kelly led the Lady Hilltoppers (6-3) with 15 points and also had two steals. Dominique Duck scored 11 points and Hope Brown 10 for Western Kentucky, which shot 30.8 percent (16-of-52) from the field.
Charlotte Marshall had a game-high 12 rebounds for the Lady Hilltoppers.
