Robinson steps up as Oklahoma tops South Carolina
Dec 30, 2007 - 11:37 PM NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Danielle Robinson scored a season-high 20 points and Courtney Paris barely extended her double-double streak with 10 points and 24 rebounds as ninth-ranked Oklahoma posted a 95-63 victory over South Carolina on Sunday.A freshman, Robinson shot 6-of-10 from the field and handed out six assists.
Paris, who notched her 72nd straight double-double, overcame 4-of-14 shooting while falling two rebounds short of matching the total of the Gamecocks.
Ashley Paris scored 16 points and Nyeshia Stevenson chipped in 15 for the Sooners (9-2), who shot 50 percent (39-of-78) and held a 58-26 advantage in rebounding.
Jordan Jones had 18 points for South Carolina (9-4), which committed 20 turnovers.
