Canady leads Old Dominion to fourth straight win
Jan 6, 2008 - 11:45 PM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Jessica Canady scored 21 points and Shahida Williams scored 12 as No. 23 Old Dominion posted a 79-59 victory over Georgia State on Sunday.Jasmine Parker chipped in 10 points for the Lady Monarchs (10-3, 1-0 Colonial), whose reserves outscored Georgia State's bench, 38-6.
Old Dominion shot just 3-of-13 from the arc but hit 22-of-30 from the free-throw line to notch its fourth straight win.
Brittany Hollins scored 25 points for the Panthers (3-9, 0-1), who shot just 30 percent (21-of-70) from the floor.
