Bonner leads Auburn to blowout win over Georgia
Jan 13, 2008 - 10:58 PM AUBURN, Alabama (Ticker) -- DeWanna Bonner scored 21 points and had 13 rebounds to help No. 20 Auburn crush No. 10 Georgia, 82-52, in a Southeastern Conference game on Sunday.Auburn, which snapped a three-game losing streak, had five players in double figures.
Alli Smalley scored 13 points for the Tigers (13-4, 1-1 SEC), who made 20-of-23 free throws and six-of-10 from the arc.
Sherell Hobbs added 12 points for Auburn, which picked up its first win over a ranked team since 2003.
Ashley Houts scored 15 points for the Bulldogs (14-2, 1-1 SEC), who shot just 30 percent (17-of-56) from the floor.
