Pym, Old Dominion cruise to 15th straight win
Feb 15, 2008 - 1:30 AM NORFOLK, Virginia (Ticker) -- Megan Pym scored 19 points and had nine rebounds as No. 14 Old Dominion cruised to its 15th consecutive victory, 83-46, over Northeastern in a Colonial Athletic Association blowout on Thursday.Tiffany Green and T.J. Jordan each added 16 points for the Lady Monarchs (21-3, 12-0 CAA), who held a 43-21 lead at the break and were never challenged in the second half.
The Huskies (7-15, 2-10) shot just 35 percent (19-of-55) from the floor and committed 26 turnovers for the game.
Shaleyse Smallwood scored 16 points to lead Northeastern, which has lost all four conference matchups with Old Dominion since joining the Colonial Athletic Association at the beginning of the 2005-06 season.
