Whipple's double-double leads Utah
Feb 17, 2008 - 1:57 AM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- Kalee Whipple had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 20 Utah to a 63-51 victory over San Diego State in a Mountain West Conference contest on Saturday.Whipple shot 5-of-9 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from the arc, and played the entire game as the Utes won their 16th straight game.
Morgan Warburton and Leilani Mitchell scored 15 points each for Utah (21-3, 10-0 MWC), which held San Diego State (13-10, 4-7) to just 30 percent (17-of-56) shooting from the field.
Jene Morris scored 13 points for the Aztecs, who also committed 21 turnovers.
