Tisdale, balanced attack help Baylor rout Oklahoma

Feb 17, 2008 - 9:48 PM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Angela Tisdale scored 23 points to lead four players in double figures as No. 8 Baylor routed No. 10 Oklahoma, 79-59, in a Big 12 Conference game on Sunday.

Jessica Morrow added 20 points for the Bears (22-3, 10-2 Big 12), who put an end to the Sooners' seven-game winning streak.

Tisdale hit 11-of-16 free throws to help Baylor neutralize the Paris twins of Oklahoma. Courtney Paris scored 21 points with 15 rebounds and her sister Ashley added 13 points and 14 rebounds.

However, the duo provided pretty much all the offense for Oklahoma (18-5, 8-3), which shot just 35 percent (22-of-62) from the floor.

Rachel Allison scored 16 points with eight rebounds in helping the Bears to their 16th straight home win.
