Toliver's overtime effort secures win for Maryland

Feb 25, 2008 - 1:42 AM COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (Ticker) -- Kristi Toliver scored 24 points, including eight in overtime, to help No. 5 Maryland rally late to beat Florida State, 92-84, on Sunday in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Crystal Langhorne added 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Terrapins (28-2, 12-1 ACC), who finished 19-0 at home this season.

Maryland committed 23 turnovers and even lost an 11-point lead early in the second half but turned it around in time to go into the extra session. Toliver opened the overtime period with the team's first five points as Maryland did not trail again after Langhorne's layup with 3:12 remaining.

Mara Freshour led Florida State (16-11, 6-6) with 23 points.
