No. 2 North Carolina finishes unbeaten in ACC

Mar 3, 2008 - 1:41 AM CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Cetera DeGraffenreid scored 14 points to help second-ranked North Carolina to an 82-51 rout of No. 11 Duke in an Atlantic Coast Conference game on Sunday.

With their 10th consecutive victory, the Tar Heels (27-2, 14-0 ACC) wrapped up their first undefeated regular season in ACC play. It was the largest margin of victory for North Carolina in the series since a 93-59 win in 1982.

Erlana Larkins added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Tar Heels, winners of 18 of their last 19 games. North Carolina has beaten Duke (21-8, 10-4) in seven of the last nine meetings.

Chante Black had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils, who shot 30 percent (21-of-70) while finishing with a season-high 27 turnovers. Duke went 0-for-12 from 3-point range.
