UNLV fires coach Miller
Mar 15, 2008 - 2:35 AM LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Nevada-Las Vegas basketball coach Regina Miller was abruptly fired Friday. The school issued a brief announcement that Miller is no longer serving as coach of the team "as of 5 p.m. Friday."
In the statement, director of athletics Mike Hamrick called it is a personnel matter and said the university can make no further comment at this time.

The Runnin' Rebels tumbled to 8-22 this season and lost to Colorado State in the Mountain West Conference play-in game.
Miller posted a 175-125 record at UNLV and is 235-225 overall, including six seasons at Western Illinois.
