Podziemska leads Wyoming to blowout win
Jan 24, 2008 - 5:09 AM LARAMIE, Wyoming (Ticker) -- Justyna Podziemska scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead No. 19 Wyoming to a 87-39 victory over UNLV in a Mountain West Conference contest on Wednesday.Aubrey Vandiver chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Cowgirls (17-1, 5-0 MWC), who connected on 12 3-pointers.
Podziemska hit four 3-pointers during a 27-9 second-half run, and finished 5-of-7 from the arc.
Shamela Hampton scored 10 points for UNLV (6-11, 2-2), which shot just 21 percent from the floor (12-of-58) and was outrebounded, 52-34.
