SE Louisiana tops Texas A&M Commerce 41-7

Sep 15, 2009 - 9:37 PM HAMMOND, La.(AP) -- Brian Babin threw for a career-high 379 yards in Southeastern Louisiana's 41-7 win over Texas A&M Commerce on Saturday night.

Babin threw three touchdown passes, including two to Simmie Yarborough, who finished with career highs of 12 catches and 128 yards.

Southeastern Louisiana, who led 34-0 until 9:16 left in the fourth quarter, won its seventh-consecutive home opener.

Adam Farkes scored Texas A&M Commerce's only touchdown of the night on a 3-yard run.

Texas A&M Commerce (0-2) had just six first downs and lost 82 yards on eight penalties.

Marcus Graham rushed for 68 yards on eight carries to lead a rushing attack which gained just 64 yards.

Farkes, Texas A&M Commerce's quarterback, completed 10 of 24 passes for 99 yards.
