BOISE, Idaho (Ticker) - After an impressive road win, Boise State certainly will be confident returning to the blue turf of Bronco Stadium.

The 20th-ranked Broncos host struggling Louisiana Tech on Saturday in a Western Athletic Conference matchup.

Boise State (5-0, 1-0 WAC) stepped out of league play to rout Utah on the road last weekend, 36-3.

Jared Zabransky passed for 210 yards and a touchdown and ran for a score and linebacker Korey Hall registered two of the Broncos' four interceptions in a game that was thought to be the toughest remaining contest on their schedule.

Boise State has won 27 consecutive WAC games and 48 of 50 overall here.

Louisiana Tech (1-3, 0-0) was crushed by Clemson last Saturday, 51-0.

Senior Eric Newman set career highs with nine receptions for 101 yards for the Bulldogs, who allowed three different players to rush for 100 yards.

Boise State is 4-1 against Louisiana Tech, losing just in 2001.
