STARKVILLE, Mississippi (Ticker) -- After an impressive victory, Tennessee is back in the rankings. Volunteers coach Phillip Fulmer will need his team to win this week to stay there.

The 25th-ranked Volunteers visit Mississippi State for an interdivisional Southeastern Conference game Saturday.

Last weekend, the Vols (3-2, 1-1 SEC East) thumped Georgia in Knoxville, 35-14.

Arian Foster rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns for Tennessee, which jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead and cruised therafter.

Mississippi State (4-2, 1-2 West) took a break from league action to beat Alabama-Birmingham last week, 30-13.

Anthony Dixon ran for 152 yards and three TDs for the Bulldogs, whose starting quarterback, Michael Henig, completed just 2-of-8 touchdowns for 26 yards with two interceptions.

Henig was replaced by Wesley Carroll, who went 9-of-12 for 93 yards.

The teams have not met since the Vols crushed the Bulldogs, 59-21, in Knoxville in 2003. The series is tied 4-4 in Starkville.
