Idaho receiver Dezmon Epps dismissed from team
Nov 10, 2015 - 12:38 AM MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) Idaho receiver Dezmon Epps has been dismissed from the team.Coach Paul Petrino announced the dismissal on Monday and said he wished Epps the best in the future.
Petrino says Epps was dismissed for violating conditions set forth in disciplinary actions that were taken earlier in the season. He did not elaborate.
Epps was suspended from the team on Oct. 26 after being accused of hitting his girlfriend. The alleged incident occurred in nearby Pullman, Washington. Whitman County prosecutors declined to charge Epps in the case for lack of evidence.
Epps had 61 receptions for 757 yards in six games this season, the most among Idaho receivers.
But the senior has had a troubled career at Idaho, having been disciplined several times.
No one has shouted yet.
