Struggling Bruins look to remain perfect against Senators

OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins have been struggling lately, so it might be a good time for them to play the Ottawa Senators.

The Bruins aim for their third straight win over the Senators this season when the clubs square off Tuesday at Scotiabank Place.

Boston, just 2-3-1 in its last six games, has won each of its first two meetings with Ottawa this season, including a 4-3 victory on November 11.

But the Senators on Tuesday will host a vastly different Bruins club, which has yielded 31 tallies over its last six games.

Marc Savard tallied twice Saturday as Boston ended a three-game skid with a 4-3 triumph over the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Senators also are coming off a win over Philadelphia, an easy 6-1 victory here on Sunday.

Dany Heatley led Ottawa with two goals and an assist while captain Daniel Alfredsson had a goal and two assists.
