Sharks aim to stay close in Pacific Division race

The Sharks shoot for their 10th win in their last 13 games Friday when they host the division rival Phoenix Coyotes.
San Jose has 98 points and is tied with Dallas (46-24-6) for second place in the division. Both clubs are six points behind first-place Anaheim (46-20-12).
The Sharks hope to carry momentum from Tuesday's 3-1 triumph over Los Angeles. Bill Guerin extended his scoring streak to three games while Patrick Marleau tallied twice for the Sharks, who have won four straight home games.

The Sharks have won three straight meetings with the Coyotes and own a 5-2-0 overall mark in the season series.
