Stars go for 10th straight win against the Kings

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- A pair of teams will be going for their third straight win when the Dallas Stars visit the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

The Stars defeated the Kings, 5-1, on October 10 and have won the last nine meetings against their Pacific Division rival.

Nicklas Hagman scored two of his team-leading five goals this campaign in Dallas' victory over the Kings. Goaltender Marty Turco is 3-1-1 with a 1.99 goals-against average this season and made 32 saves in the victory over Los Angeles.

If the Stars look to continue their dominance over the Kings, they will have to keep an eye on Michael Cammalleri, who leads the league with 10 goals this season.

The 25-year-old center has scored four goals in his last three games and has registered a point in eight of his 10 contests this season.

Kings goaltender Jason LaBarbera has recorded a victory in each of his last two starts and leads the team with a 2.56 GAA.

The Kings also boast the best power play in the Western Conference, scoring on 24.1 percent of their chances with the man-advantage.

Los Angeles is playing their second game of a four-game homestand. The Kings defeated Nashville, 6-0, on Tuesday.
