Flames looking to build momentum against Oilers

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) - After snapping a five-game losing streak, the Calgary Flames try to build some momentum against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.

The Flames ended their slide with a narrow 3-2 triumph over the Minnesota Wild as Kristian Huselius scored with 53 seconds left in the game to lift Calgary to the victory.

Huselius has been terrific on the offensive end of the ice this season, scoring eight goals and eight assists. The 29-year-old left wing had a career-year last season, scoring 34 tallies and 43 helpers en route to recording more than 45 points for the first time in his seven-year career.

Calgary should have an easy time scoring on Saturday as the Oilers are one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL.

Edmonton is sixth worst in the league in goals against, allowing 3.16 goals a game and goalies Dwayne Roloson and Mathieu Garon have struggled this season.

Roloson is just 3-9-1 this season with a .890 save percentage and a suspect 3.21 goals-against average.

Garon has been the better of the two, posting a 4-2-0 record with a .915 save percentage, but still has a 2.41 GAA.
