Wild G Dubnyk sidelined with injury

Dec 14, 2017 - 7:23 PM Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury, coach Bruce Boudreau announced Thursday.

Dubnyk sustained the injury in the first period of Tuesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Calgary Flames. The 31-year-old was replaced by Alex Stalock to start the second period for the Wild (16-11-3), who host the Toronto Maple Leafs (20-11-1) on Thursday night and the Edmonton Oilers (13-16-2) on Saturday.

"He will probably (be) off the ice until the weekend," Boudreau said. "Then we're going to Ottawa (Tuesday) and then Florida (Dec. 22), he's got a better chance to get on the ice and work with the team."

Dubnyk owns a 12-8-2 mark with three shutouts, a 2.69 goals-against average and .916 save percentage in 23 games this season.

Stalock has recorded a 4-3-1 mark with a 2.93 GAA and .907 save percentage in 2017-18.

Minnesota recalled goaltender Steve Michalek under emergency conditions from Iowa of the American Hockey League on Thursday. The 24-year-old Michalek owns a 6-1-2 mark with a 2.52 goals-against average and .926 save percentage with Iowa this season.
