Flyers look to build off latest win vs. Sabres

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers look to build off their latest victory when they host the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.

Philadelphia, which is in fourth place in the crowded Eastern Conference, is coming off a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

The Flyers are 9-4-1 in their last 14 contests since February 4, and have been propelled by captain Mike Richards, who has registered 10 goals in that span.

Buffalo, meanwhile, had its two-game winning streak halted with a 6-3 setback to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

The Sabres are still trying to harness their defense without injured goaltender Ryan Miller, who has missed six games thus far with an ankle injury. A timetable for his return to the lineup is uncertain.

All-Star Thomas Vanek, who returned three games ago from missing a month with a fractured jaw, has scored a goal in 24 of his 57 games this season.
