DRIVERS TO WATCH
----------------

Aric Almirola
Team: Joe Gibbs Racing
Car: No. 20 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
2007 Earnings: $329,702

Was credited with his first Busch series win last week in
Milwaukee despite not finishing the race; started the race in
Denny Hamlin's car, but was replaced by Hamlin during an early
pit stop; even though Hamlin took the checkered flag, NASCAR
officially credited Almirola with the victory, points and prize
money; it was Almirola's second straight top-10 finish, coming
on the heels of a sixth-place showing at Kentucky.

Marcos Ambrose
Team: Woods Brothers/JTG Racing
Car: No. 59 Ford Fusion
2007 Earnings: $467,452

Australian rookie placed 15th last week at Milwaukee, climbing a
spot to seventh in the standings; registered a season-worst
36th-place finish at Nashville and fell three spots to 11th; one
of the circuit's top rookies recorded a career-best sixth-place
finish at Dover to end a string of nine consecutive finishes of
17th or worse; has three top-10 finishes this season, including
an eighth place at Mexico City on March 4; did not run in this
event last season.

Dave Blaney
Team: Braun Racing
Car: No. 10 Toyota Camry
2007 Earnings: $494,434

Did not race in Milwaukee to drop two spots to fourth in the
standings, a whopping 853 points behind leader Carl Edwards; ran
11th five weeks ago at Charlotte; has recorded two top-five
finishes and four top-10s in 16 starts this season; was the top
Toyota driver in the series until being surpassed by Dave
Reutimann, but is still a bright spot for the new manufacturer;
placed 15th in this event last season.

Carl Edwards
Team: Roush Fenway Racing
Car: No. 60 Ford Fusion
2007 Earnings: $703,480

Has an overwhelming 776-point cushion in the series standings
despite a season-worst 33rd-place finish two weeks ago at
Kentucky, where he was wrecked by Steve Wallace off a restart;
finished eighth last week in Milwaukee; was the only driver on
the circuit to register a top-10 finish in each of the first 10
races this season; rebounded from a 17th in Charlotte by winning
the next two races and has a series-leading four checkered
flags; has turned the series standings into a total runaway,
much the way Kevin Harvick did a year ago; was the series
runner-up a year ago to Harvick; won this event last year.

David Ragan
Team: Roush Fenway Racing
Car: No. 6 Ford Fusion
2007 Earnings: $400,882

Moved up two sports to third in the standings with a 12th-place
finish in Milwaukee; prior to last week finished in the top-10
in consecutive races, with an eighth-place showing at Kentucky
and a seventh-place result at Nashville; best finish thus far
was fourth-place at Talladega; also finished fifth at Texas; has
finished 30th or worse four times, including a 43rd in the
season opener at Daytona; did not race in this event last year.

the standings, 776 points behind runaway leader Edwards; has
five top-10s this season, including a ninth-place result at
Nashville; also recorded a second-place showing at Nashville in

results, with the other coming at Richmond; did not run in this
event last season.
