Roosters sweating on Gordon scans
Jul 10, 2017 - 5:17 AM Sydney Roosters fullback Michael Gordon should know by Tuesday whether his 2017 NRL season is over.Gordon has undergone scans after suffering a pectoral injury in Friday night's win over South Sydney.
The club's spokeswoman said it was not yet known how severe the injury was and whether he will be forced to go under the knife.
Should the veteran fullback be ruled out for the remainder of the season it would be a massive blow to the Roosters' title hopes.
Latrell Mitchell and Blake Ferguson shape as possibilities to wear the No.1 jersey for the rest of the year should he be ruled out.
Gordon recently re-signed with the Roosters for 2018 but is expected to move to the wing with the arrival of NSW fullback James Tedesco next year.
