Salt Lake runs home unbeaten streak to 18

Jul 3, 2010 - 4:25 AM SANDY, Utah(AP) -- Alvaro Saborio scored twice in a five-minute span of the second half as Real Salt Lake routed the New England Revolution 5-0 on Friday to extend its home unbeaten streak to 18 games.

Defending Major League Soccer champion Salt Lake also extended its overall unbeaten streak to nine games.

Fabian Espindola and Jamison Olave found the net in the first half and Robbie Findley completed the scoring in the second half.

The Revolution failed to score for the fifth time in their last six games. They have lost their last two games at Rio Tinto Stadium by a combined 11-0.
