Adam Lallana set to undergo scans
Nov 17, 2016 - 1:29 PM Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana will undergo a scan on an injury picked up on international duty with England, according to the Premier League leaders Thursday.Lallana scored the opening goal in a 2-2 draw with Spain on Tuesday but came off injured before halftime.
He's being assessed by Liverpool's medical staff and manager Juergen Klopp hasn't ruled him out of the Premier League leaders' game at Southampton on Saturday.
"We couldn't do a scan until now, so we have to wait for this," Klopp told a news conference on Thursday.
"It will be close, the time until Southampton is short so I don't know. Hopefully it is not too serious, but we have to wait."
Lallana has three goals in 11 appearances for the Reds this season.
