RipRap I agree! Officials should not alter or affect the outcome of games of sport! Official make mistakes also. Who hands the Officials a Red Card? Perhaps we, the fans should! Perhaps Officials should be held to some higher standard..
If an Official is deemed to have made a bad call, he gets a yellow, second infraction, another yellow. Third time, RED CARD and depending on if the extent the bad call affected the outcome of the game, no matter how small an affect, SUSPENSION......
This not only happens i Football, but also Hockey, American Football, Baseball, F1 racing etc.
Officials of Sport, should be licensed, trained Professionals. They are deciding Professional Sports, They should also be Pros.

RipRap Why are we going BACKWARDS??? Is there anyone old enuf on here to remember when kickoffs were from the 35-yard line??? NFL moved them back to 30 because the kickers were getting STRONGER and were getting too many touchbacks. Now we should be getting TBs on EVERY kickoff unless it is an onside or squib kick. WTF NFL? Any logic to this change?
