Hammon helps Silver Stars edge Mystics

Jul 27, 2011 - 1:21 AM Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Becky Hammon had 22 points and five rebounds to lift the San Antonio Silver Stars to a 73-67 victory over the Washington Mystics on Tuesday night.

Jia Perkins had 10 points while Jayne Appel added eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds for the Silver Stars, who have won three of their last four.

Crystal Langhorne had 19 points and seven rebounds while Marissa Coleman added 14 points and seven boards for the Mystics, who fell to 1-7 in July.
