Storm down Mystics in OT
Jun 19, 2013 - 5:04 AM Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Tina Thompson had a game-high 30 points and eight rebounds to lead the Seattle Storm in a 96-86 win in overtime against the Washington Mystics on Tuesday.Tanisha Wright scored 17 points with six assists and Temeka Johnson added 16 points in the win for the Storm, who have won their past two.
Crystal Langhorne had 23 points and seven boards and Matee Ajavon added 17 points for the Mystics, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
Johnson gave Seattle an 82-80 lead 1:20 into overtime with a bucket and followed that with a 3-pointer.
Consecutive baskets from Michelle Snow got Washington to within three, but Wright countered with a layup and free throw to cap a 3-point play with 1:26 to go to seal the win.
