McCarville, Lynx down Storm
Jun 30, 2014 - 1:13 AM Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Janel McCarville scored a game-high 22 points and the Minnesota Lynx bounced back from losing in Seattle on Friday with a 74-69 victory over the Storm on Sunday.Maya Moore filled the box score with 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four blocks for the Lynx, who have won 11 straight home games, including the playoffs, over the Storm.
Sue Bird netted 21 points to pace Seattle, while Jenna O'Hea added 14 points off the bench in the setback.
Seattle had a chance to take the lead in the final minute, but Angel Robinson missed a layup and Minnesota made 5-of-6 free throws in the closing seconds to secure the victory.
