Fever hand Storm seventh straight loss
Aug 1, 2014 - 5:07 AM Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Marissa Coleman and Tamika Catchings scored 16 points apiece as the Indiana Fever beat the Seattle Storm, 76-67, on Thursday.Catchings moved past Katie Smith for third place on the WNBA's all-time scoring list. Catchings now has 6,454 points.
Briann January added 12 points for the Fever (13-14), who moved into a tie with Washington for second place in the Eastern Conference. Shavonte Zellous and Erlana Larkins tallied 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Shekinna Stricklen scored 20 points to lead Seattle (9-20), which has lost seven straight.
Indiana outscored Seattle by a 25-15 margin in the fourth quarter.
