Mystics top Dream in OT

Aug 29, 2013 - 1:45 AM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The trio of Monique Currie, Ivory Latta and Tayler Hill each scored 15 points as the Washington Mystics edged the Atlanta Dream in overtime, 85-80.

Currie drained a game-tying 3-pointer with 6.4 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter for Washington. Atlanta's Jasmine Thomas missed a running 3-pointer to send the game to overtime, where the Mystics owned a 9-4 scoring advantage.

Latta dished out 10 assists, and Crystal Langhorne compiled 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Mystics, who pulled to within 1 1/2 games of the second-place Dream in the Eastern Conference standings.

Angel McCoughtry finished with a game-high 23 points for Atlanta, which got 15 points and 14 boards from Erika de Souza. Thomas had 18 points in just the Dream's third home loss this season.
